The Story
Hey! Welcome.
I'm Meekah Sage
I’m the moto-crazed mid-life mama behind MotoBella Vintage. Six months ago I could barely kick-start my “new-to-me” motorcycle and roll down my dirt road. Today I ride wherever I please—solo or in good company. I’m endlessly inspired by moto culture, the journey itself, and those wide-open landscapes.
It is my mission to be a pit stop of inspiration & belonging for women rediscovering themselves in life’s ever-evolving chapters.
my journey
began at 50
In July 2024, I turned 50 and stepped into a major life transition — officially an empty nester, living in a new place, navigating a new relationship, and juggling seasonal work. After closing a chapter as an organic farm manager, I found myself craving something more.
Scrolling Instagram one day, I felt an undeniable pull toward women riding motorcycles — a spark I hadn’t felt since my horse-riding days years ago. I signed up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course in October to test if this desire was real... and it was.
Two days later, with my license in hand, I knew: I was born to ride. Within weeks, I brought home my first bike — a 2015 Yamaha SR400 — and a whole new journey began.

First Steps
At first, I could barely get the bike in and out of the trailer and so, I would just go sit with it. Soon, I was out in the trailer more than my house. Before long, I was riding multiple times per week practicing skills, building strength and gaining confidence.

Finding Kinship
As my skills improved, my courage & confidence increased. Quickly, the desire to ride with others emerged. My best friend rides and one fated day, we cruised out together. It was then that I knew, the moto lifestyle and the comradery that comes with it is absolutely essential to my joy, well being and sense of purpose.

Motobella Vintage
was born. The more I rode, the stronger the idea for Motobella Vintage became. I couldn't stop thinking about all the places to ride, the essentials I wanted to bring with me, and how each ride both challenged and inspired me. I discovered that I rode to feel good, let go, heal and return to my center. It became clear how powerful this path can be. All I wanted to do was design and make cool stuff to accompany the lifestyle and connect with other women going through similar life transitions. Creating this brand was the only option going forward, despite the fears. Heck, if I could ride a motorcycle at 50, I could finally follow a lifelong dream of having my own business. And so, here I am following that inner voice and passion, out here riding, creating and inviting YOU to join me.
